We all know what that means, a wedding to capture today.   Paul, Andy, and I are dressed to the nines and ready to roll.  Jim and Peggy are starting their life together today and we have the honor to freeze frame it for them.

I got home two hours ago and and I am already copying and culling images. They look great! Thank you again, and Congrats to Peggy & Jim!

the Winners – Chris & Catherine

That was a ton of votes to count and Chris and Catherine came out on top for the most votes for their Connection Session photograph.

So what do they win?

They will be gifted with a mounted Standout 16″ x 20″ of their favorite wedding day photo. Normally valued at $179.99, this amazing print hangs anywhere and looks STUNNING.

Both runners up will also get Mounted Standouts at 8″ x 12″ of their favorite photograph as well. Each valued at $99.99. I want to thank everyone for your voting and I cannot wait until this coming wedding season to start shooting!

Matt & Nicole were the first to obtain one of these new prints and… well, I will let one of them comment on it. :-)

The Weddings & The Power of Facebook

What a weekend! I want to give a shout-out to Josh (aka Brad) and Christine for inviting us to shoot their wedding. Their wedding was the first that my beautiful wife Angela shot along side me. Being able to look at each other and know what each other is thinking is natural for us, so that was very easy. I cannot wait to get her own digital SLR! It was quite a toasty day, but we had a blast and captured some beautiful memories. I know we were NOT the only guests thinking about jumping in to the pool!

Andy made a long trek to the Twin Cities to shoot a wedding for Becky & Joe. I had the opportunity to go through Andy’s images and I can see that his photo-journalistic ‘eye’ is maturing. This was Andy’s second solo; Andy, correct me if I am wrong, and he has come a long ways. I am very proud of him and look forward to our next wedding together.

I also have suspended our Google advertising and am trying our luck with Facebook Ads. I can tell you, if you haven’t tried it to draw traffic to your site, send me a message and we can talk. In the last 24 hours, we have had 58,000 impressions and 18 clicks. I hope to be able to work with a few other small start-ups to really drive their new businesses some major traffic. If you have seen my ad on Facebook, and dropped here because of it, please leave a comment and let me know!
